So, with ticketing starting to open, it's time to discuss policy for the camp.
a LNT or "Leave No Trace" plan is required of each camp at the event.
I wouldn't mind keeping our camp policy simple if possible.
Something like.
"It is each persons responsibility to clear away any trash they find unattended and remove it with their own trash at the end of the event. If someone is actively leaving "Moop" or "Matter out of place" around the camp, they are to be notified that they must immediately clean it up. If they fail to do so, even with repeated reminders that we are not their mother, they may be asked to leave if a majority of the camp agrees."

I totally agree, there's no "it's not my problem". I plan on keeping a MOOP zip lock on me at all times this way I have a place to put something.

Any suggestions or critiques on the LNT plan? Do we need morning sweeps of our camp like some camps do? Are we large enough to warrant a Moop search pattern?

It seems like as of right now with the amount of members who are committing to this camp we could be responsible for our own MOOP and shouldn't need to conduct morning sweeps. (we are all adults after all, right?)
As the camp grows we may want to have a plan in place for sweeps or perhaps a "chore board" in which we could assign or volunteer for various tasks to keep our camp tidy and MOOP free.

Moop can blow in from other camps. Moop can be items dropped in the night when returning home to camp late. When we wake up, making a conscious effort to look for moop before we head out might be a good idea to make people aware of, but we might be small enough not to need a formal policy past kindly asking people to be extra aware in the morning.
