Are you going to be asking for an official placement as a theme camp?

I'm considering asking for placement as a Theme Camp. I doubt we'll get approval but it's worth a shot.
Our other option is selecting an out of the way space, and whoever gets there first claims it, and we leave messages at center camp if we need to relocate due to it being taken.
We'd need at least a bit of participatory events in order to get approved. Maybe we can provide activities and ice breakers for new attendees and older attendees who are bored? Maybe something like Rent-A-Birgin? Where any burner can 'borrow' a Virgin and take him out on the town and show him some of their favorite things/tell them about past burns?
Do you have any opinions on becoming a placed theme camp over an informal one?

Well, I was thinking that since we're a collective group of clueless people we probably would get a "theme camp" stamp. My original thought was that I was probably going to meet a lot of birgins just camping in the Burner buss drop off area because I am thinking a lot of people might take the bus but birgins would sort just stay where they had allotted the "bus people".
Rent-A-Birgin is both terrifying and fantastic all rolled into one! I love this idea.

I'm going to write it up and put it as 'camp art'

I hadn't thought of this. I know there are some nice perks to getting placed, including a better chance at getting early-arrival tickets, which is good because we have some ambitious plans. Plus being closer to Center Camp. I also think it might be taxing, being in a higher-traffic area and offering scheduled events and services and such. I guess I'm saying no preferance.
Rent-A-Birgin is a cool idea by the way.

I'm doubting we'll get placement, but being right in the center of the action might be nice.
We don't need to do scheduled events, but we should probably throw a party even if we don't publicize it outside the camp(obviously anyone is welcome, radical inclusion and all that)
